The Kings Cross Arts Guild Inc. is a non-profit, volunteer-run community arts organisation established in 1999.
Our Mission Statement states that:
A. The Kings Cross Arts Guild seeks to promote and provide a professional and social community as a framework for:
(1) dealing with day to day practical issues involved in the arts
(2) the cross fertilisation of ideas across the broadest possible spectrum of arts disciplines without prejudice
(3) greater interaction with the wider community for mutual benefit.
(B) The Guild has an open policy, and favours no one discipline, fashion, person, or philosophy save that of inclusion or tolerance for all as much as possible and will encourage and help all cultural activities within the Kings Cross area.
(C) The Guild aims to establish a Cross Disciplinary Centre to provide working, presentation and educational facilities.
(D) The Guild embraces and promotes the cultural heritage, uniqueness and diversity of the Kings Cross area.
